Edua Zadory starts her new position as violin Professor at Al-Quds College of Music
The new semester starts with exciting news! Internationally renowned violinist Edua Zadory will join the team of professors at Als Quds University music department.
“Édua Amarilla” Zádory, which means „glistening moonrise“ was born in Hungary. At the early age of seven, Édua’s outstanding talent became evident. Taking part in a competition, Édua wowed the judges with her exceptional performance and was offered a scholarship at the prestigious Swiss institute of music. She studied under star violinists like Habib Kayaleh, Tibor Varga and Yehudi Menuhin. Concerts around the world contributed to her international career. Numerous worldwide TV and radio performances as well as CD productions followed. Hundreds of music lovers were recently fascinated by Édua’s solo performances in Europe, Morocco, Iran and Southern America. In 2011 she became professor at the Kunstuniversität Graz.
Edua Zadory is now looking forward to start her new position as professor for violin at Al Quds University. She will perform live on Monday 10th at 11 am at the Monday Art Garden at Abu Dies Campus. She will later appear in chamber music concerts in Abu Dies and Jerusalem and participate in the international Als Quds October Academy.
The Al Quds University College of Music project is currently developing a programme for major studies in music. The project operates within a network of regional and international schools and academic music institutions.
